- Philip sold this lot to Jonathan Clark of Hallowell. The Bargain and Sale instrument was registered in Picton and copied to the Prince Edward County land registrar's books on January 6, 1819. This lot later became 'lot 11, concession 1 Lakeside, Hillier Township' when Hillier township was formed from part of Ameliasburgh township around 1824. Philip was paid 105 pounds by Jonathan Clark for this lot of 200 acres. Philip's son, Daniel Bedell Dorland, witnessed to this transaction when the Bargain and Sale was registered on January 6, 1819.
