- Paul signed a petition saying that he was age 21, had not received land, was the son of John Trumpour UE, and asked for land as the son of a Loyalist. He made this oath before the local Commission of the Peace, Stephen Conger, who also certified the truth of the petition.

- The Lieutenant Governor Peter Hunter approved Paul Trumpour's petition for land after his office checked that his father John Trumpour's name was on the UE List. Paul was recommended for 200 acres of land.

- Visit University of Toronto Archives. There was an 1830 and an 1840 survey of all the King's College lands to record who was on the lot and what improvements had been made to it. These surveys were used as an index to subsequent transactions and so you can se in those books who purchased or leased the lots. Must write all this out as photocopying is not allowed - the documents are fragile. See Ruth Burkholder's article in Quinte Land file folder.

- Paul Trumpour witnessed the marriage of Victory SYKES and Caroline RUTTER on June 25, 1851 by licence. Victory Sykes was 26, of Boston City, United States. Caroline Rutter was 26 of Hillier, District of Prince Edward. The other witness was Jonathan RAYNOR. Place of marriage and parents were not recorded.
