    • Visit University of Toronto Archives. There was an 1830 and an 1840 survey of all the King's College lands to record who was on the lot and what improvements had been made to it. These surveys were used as an index to subsequent transactions and so you can se in those books who purchased or leased the lots. Must write all this out as photocopying is not allowed - the documents are fragile. See Ruth Burkholder's article in Quinte Land file folder.
