5004 In the land petition of her son, John Trumpour Hendricks, made September 2, 1839, there was a statement that the said Betsey Hendricks died shortly after presenting her own land petition in 1817 or 1818. Her original petition was lost. Also with John T. Hendricks' petition is an affidavit made on September 9, 1839 by his father, James Hendricks (husband of Betsey Hendricks), who stated that "Betsey had been deceased now nearly twenty years".
