There does not seem to be a baptism for a Mary Wiles in Ravensden in 1812, so her parents are not known. However, there is a WILES family in Ravensden who were having children at the time. I am assuming that Mary is the daughter of John Wiles and his wife, Ann Simons.

Ann was 'in need' several times during the years. She was paid small amounts by the Ravensden Overseers. Some of the references were: May 30, 1801 paid 4s 0d; December 1, 1801 paid 2s 6d; January 27, 1802 paid 5s 0d; and February 2, 1802 paid 3s 0d.
