    Margaret Elizabeth Jamieson was the wife of James Singer and the mother of Catharine Singer who was the wife of William Thomson. She was the grandmother of James Singer Thomson. Margaret's birth was circa 1800. She married on December 22, 1823 in Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She died at 44 Jacks Brae, Aberdeen on September 12, 1870.
